Detailed Workflow

Once the general work scope and budget are determined for a new design project, it is reviewed with IPF Project Services to determine if the project will be Self-Performed rather than contracted out.  An EAS design staff member reviews the project with IPF Project Services at a weekly meeting typically held on Tuesdays.  At the meeting, it is decided whether or not the project will be self-performed and the decision will be noted on the Engineering Job Acceptance Form.  A copy of the form is given to the Lead Designer on the project who will file the form in the project Document Manager in Unifier.
