If the Consultant has access to Unifier, they transmit the Report using the Transmittal process, then the Designer moves the Report from the "TRANSMITTALS TO BE FILED" folder to the "REPORTS" Folder.

 

Detailed Workflow

During the design phase, an engineering consultant may be hired to provide soil borings.  The Consultant will submit the Geotechnical Report to the PDC Designer (typically either the Landscape Architect or the Civil Engineer).  The Consultant will submitt the report using the Transmittal process in Unifier.  The PDC Designer will review the report and request modifications as needed.  The PDC Designer will be responsible for filing the report in the project Document Manager in Unifier.
