The Guarantees from the Contactor and Subcontractors are documents that guarantee their workmanship/labor and materials for a specified period of time after the work is completed.

The Contractor will attach guarantees to the final payment application, or submit them using the Unifier Transmittal process.

 

Detailed Workflow

The Contractor will provide a one-year material and labor guarantee and attach it to their final payment application.  The Contractor shall obtain all required specific and extended guarantees or warranties from Subcontractors and Suppliers and submit them either with the final payment application or using the Unifier Transmittal process.  The Project Representative will review the guarantees and may request revisions from the Contractor.
