Detailed Workflow

Maintenance Services will create a Problem Report when they identify an issue in a building that needs to be addressed and corrected, and the project relating to the issue is past the one-year general warranty date.  The Maintenance Engineer will input the Problem Report into the Campus FAMIS data system.  The PDC Construction Superintendent will receive notification of the Problem Report and forward it to a Designer or Project Representative, depending on the related project and the issue.  The Designer or Project Representative will investigate the issue and determine a solution.  The Maintenance Engineer will input the solution into FAMIS and send the Problem Report to the PDC Facilities Information Services Manager to be filed in Meridian Archives with the associated project.
