Obtaining a Preliminary Cost Assessment for your project

For the Customer

Customers may request a Preliminary Cost Assessment (PCA) by submitting a service request using the online Service Request form.  A PCA is a high-level cost evaluation without the benefit of drawings or detailed investigation.  This service is provided by IPF to aid MSU administrators in making initial facility plans and is not intended to be used as a firm or final budget.  To validate the work scope and confirm the projected cost, preliminary design is necessary to produce a detailed estimate.

The Preliminary Cost Assessment page on the Capital Project Procedures website explains the process by which a preliminary cost assessment is provided to the customer.
